relate fields cannot be cleared once something has been selected #22

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. create a new contact
2. select partners and children
3. delete the text out of the relate field and save

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
the relate field still contains the related child. deleting the text content of 
the relate field did not erase the relation to this child.

Please use labels and text to provide additional information.
