a reminder at a given notice period"

Just to provide more detail on this request. Simply put, when a contract is 
raised, it would be useful for the system to send out an email notification to 
the acount manager and maybe the contracts manager (if you have one or just a 
secondary email address) that the following contract number is up for renewal. 
You may set the trigger in line with your business practice, so something like 
1 month or 3 month and when it hits this trigger the email notification is sent.
