entities cannot be updated since r193 #55

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. use new assignedTo field in contacts: assign a contact to an employee and 
save the contact
2. the contact is not updated i.e. the contact is not assigned to the employee. 
thus values can only be set / "changed" on create not on update.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
