getByName does not work for names containing quotes

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. create a product called tft 15"
2. add this product to services in parents module
3. when the autocomplete finds the product and tries to store its ID it fails

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
entities should be retrievable no matter what their name is i.e. with or 
without quotes in their name
