xfce panel items #34

Hi @EliverLara, this is not a bug but rather a question or maybe a suggestion:

Is there a quick way to change the xfce panel from light to dark in your themes featuring a light panel (ant, ant-bloody and ant-nebula)? I mean, make the panel look like it's in the ant-dracula theme, or at least adjust the text colors? I just happen to prefer a dark panel in xfce even with light themes, so I usually set the panel color explicitly to some darkish color, but then the text looks like this, e.g., in the ant theme:

Let me repeat, this is not a bug in your theme which uses a light background for the panel, but it would be nice to have a quick way to switch from a light panel to a dark one if desired. Maybe there is, but then I don't see it. Looking at the diffs between Ant/gtk-2.0/ and Ant-Dracula/gtk-2.0/, there's a bunch of differences in both the assets and the colors there, so this might not be easy. 😞

In principle, this also affects the shell theme in Gnome, but there I can just mix and match widget and shell themes (e.g., using Ant together with Ant-Dracula for the shell). In xfce that's impossible, as the widget and "shell" a.k.a. panel settings aren't separate.

Never mind, I've been able to work around this by using the theme color in the panel and using transparency on the panel instead, so I'm closing this issue.
