Firefox icon cannot be displayed #516

When I set the default icon theme, the Firefox icon did not change. I am new with Ubuntu so do I need to configure something with Firefox to change its icon? Thanks a lot

your firefox is the default installation? if so, i guess the icon isn't working because firefox on ubuntu is from snap, you need to know how to change icon for snap applications, or install firefox from flatpak or the debian repo

Maybe so, That is default firefox when Ubuntu is installed

There are several ways to fix this.

Remove the snap and install a ppa firefox version.
Or follow this answer on askubuntu, one of the answers with pictures explain where are located the .desktop files and what to do to solve the situation.
