Describe the bug
With the update to plasma 6.2 or 6.2.1 the brightness slider no longer works neither for changing brightness nor for displaying brightness percentage
To Reproduce
Remove plasmoid kde-control station if existing and install latest version 2024-09-30 (https://www.pling.com/p/2196105/) on kde plasma 6.2 or 6.2.1 or 6.2.2
Expected behavior
Allow brightness slider to control display brightness and to show brightness percentage

Same issue under Fedora 41, brightness control from the Fedora brightness panel, hotkeys and brightnessctl all working, so this is very much a kde-control-station issue
