Normalise special characters to permit searching for non-native users #840

I noticed when I searched for "smorgasbord" (as many users will type, who are unable to remember where the å and ö go, or unable to type those) and noticed I found 0 events. Once correcting the spelling I found both.

Describe the solution you'd like

If events/materials could include "normalised" versions of special characters, it could help users searching for such results.

Describe alternatives you've considered

we have considered removing the 'special' characters from the event's name but that would be incorrect. We could include an incorrectly unaccented version in the event body but that would appear inconsistent to a user.

I'm sorry,, this does work as described. It seems when I changed the query term, the "include past events" filter was disabled.

This is not an issue now.
