This is a different feature to #6. The extension normaliser will allow for extensions to be normalised. Eg jpeg->jpg, or to change the case. This will be implemented as a Rule so that once defined, nothing has to be specified on the command line. If and when #6 is implemented, what ever is specified on the command line will override this Extension rule.
