this is a bad way to do it. consider invisible captcha creates a gap, the footer class does not match the original in some cases and other unintended consequences exist.

Thanks for the feedback.

I see what you mean, although removing them completely as you suggested breaks the layout when invisible captcha is not used (managed challenge). Will have a look into this however and see if there is a better way.
