Book Advancements Are Not Progressing #358

Closed LacyDoes closed 1 month ago

I'm hosting a LAN server and my Partner and I can't progress the book. Sometimes it works after a rejoin or restart but we've now reached a point where it doesn't progress anymore. Nothing I can see shows in the logs, no errors that are obvious at least. I can supply logs or a mod list if needed!

Update!

So I learned that if I revoke the Advancements that were not being registered by the book, It fixes the progression.

For instance, The Advancement "Empowered" was not being registered by the Book and wasn't adding to the Book's progress. I revoked my partner's "Empowered" Advancement and it fixed the progression and allowed us to continue.

My thoughts could be that the Advancement tree is confusing the book? Say I completed a future Advancement before acquiring the previous Advancement in line, and so the Book doesn't know how to read that?

It seems to JUST be "Empowered" that's bugging this progression. Every time we get a new Advancement we have to revoke "Empowered" (naturesaura:alter) to fix it.

Hi! At first glance, this seems more like a Patchouli issue. Additionally, Minecraft 1.19.2 isn't supported anymore, unfortunately, so if it's not a Patchouli issue, there likely won't be a fix for this. Sorry!

If this issue still occurs in 1.20.4, please let me know here or by creating a new issue :)

Ahhh I should have figured that! No worries!
