Exploration: Can we use series of resistance as multiple capacities sensor? #125

Stupid question. But when I use a conductive paint with capacities sensor we can create a slider. So could we create several button using two pin of the arduino ?

I have try to make one sender + multiple receiver to save some pin... But it create easy anomaly in the reading of the value.

Random note after experimenting for me

Ok, so from what I tested, with aluminium and metal I don't succeed to create variation 0-9 in the reading. With the paint I succeed to do it by changing a bit the time to measure depending of the resistance. By observing.

But with thin layer it works better that with big layer of paint on surface of 10cm

PS: I am supprise that with silicate+ pencil graphite. I layer with almost not graphite worked as sensor ! Does silicate can work alone for capacities sensor ? I doubt but that need to be checked.

PS: With resistance of 330ko in series, I did not succeed to create variation in the capacitive sensor library.
