I have a similar issue, I think. When I use my play/pause media key on windows, or the play/pause button in the touch bar on macOS, it can't resume videos (e.g. on YouTube) when the extension is active.

Disable HTML5 Autoplay is not supported anymore. https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/disable-html5-autoplay/efdhoaajjjgckpbkoglidkeendpkolai?hl=de

I switched to https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/disable-html5-autoplay-re/cafckninonjkogajnihihlnnimmkndgf which does not interfere with the play/pause button
