Can You provide a fully working example rc.lua

I tried to use your sample, i remove all the usage of config and util modules. Add on a default rc.lua, and all i got was a wm with no wibox.

Yes, I will later (I have an exam today). This file was only the rules. I usually keep my rules in a separated file from my rc.lua and call it using

dofile(awful.util.getdir("config") .. "/baseRule.lua")

Basically, add: local tyranic = require("tyranic")

at the top and the dofile line (or copy paste the file content). Nothing else is required (I think) as the module take care of configuring itself. As I said, I havn't touched that code in 2 months and I rushed a release for you. I wrote it in a few minutes, so there is a few rough edges. It was "good enough" for me as a shifty replacement, but may need some work for a wider audience.

So apparently this is from a bad require i made on the script. Super weird error.
