Font/Chat Panel problem

Description

Hi, I'm playing WLK 3.3.5a on an English version game client, but I'm from China and my friends speak Chinese. The problem is the Chinese Characters are all displaying as ? and I've tried to change the fonts by 1.Creating a Fonts folder at the WOW game client, after disabling ElvUI it's working well. But while using ElvUI, it's the same. 2.I tried to add new ttf fonts into ElvUI\media, but they don't show up in the setting panel for Chat. I guess there are two different fonts used here, one for displaying the chat board, another for displaying the tying box. I did manage to change the chat board font by renaming some Chinese font into one of the existing ones, but I can't find the settings for fonts for typing box.

Well, I also tried to use a Chinese version game client, but the problem is in chat board, players' name are not displayed according to their class, which is weird too.

Game Client 3.3.5a ElvUI (I don't know the exact version, but I downloaded it a few days ago.)

Steps to Reproduce

Just a font problem for English version game client.

Expected Behavior

I hope the English version game client can show Chinese characters.

I've managed to solve the issue in tricky way after realizing the problem was mostly caused by the font provided. I tested several fonts and the only one worked was 幼圆黑体. I'm pretty confused why this happened.
