Rivendell 3.6.7 This does just what it says. However, I am running my system in "pause/resume" mode instead of "start/stop" mode. Is their a command that will "resume" a log machine if "paused" otherwise do nothing?

There is not. The closest thing available would be 'Start Button' ['PB'], which exactly replicates a human being clicking one of the Start buttons in rdairplay(1).
