The flood speed would have to be dynamic so it lands at the top of the stage perfectly. I think I made a viable way to be able to detect this, so this may be possible

Im honestly down for these more out there ideas for modifiers, makes the game overall more interesting and replayable, with all these incredibly unique modifiers.
Oh yeah, another neat detail, would be having the flood texture change based of the level type. (water for normal levels, lava for lava levels, quicksand for sand levels (and maybe water levels) and etc)
Saw a bizarrely high amount of people suggest this so,
Basically this would be a rising hazard that would slowly make its way through the entire level, if you stay in it for to long you die and get eliminated. The flood speed could be adjusted in the modifier settings.
