the change was requested by the project lead from the manjaro-arm team, presumably to get the change downstream in their project so it's arguably manjaro fucking up again. It's up to you if that counts though.

oh, I missed when the PR was opened. Maybe add it as a footnote to the existing paragraph on this?

The Manjaro ARM Project lead sent a patch up to Arch Linux ARM that he did 0 testing on, we know he did 0 testing because the patch was causing Xorg to instantly crash in all instances. Here is the PR in question https://github.com/archlinuxarm/PKGBUILDs/pull/1946

yeah i read the pr and the fedi post, and then alarm trusting the pr too without testing -- alarm would be at least as responsible for the patch too for merging

i guess writing that out now, it could have a sentence or two
