If you /cname then use /me, it uses the real name rather than the /cname. (new behavior, I think, but not sure when introduced)

This is due to bukkits new feature 'commands.yml'

Emil simply needs to write in it

command overrides: me: tregmine:me

He and I discussed this already :)
