Please type "help", scroll to the bottom, and tell us if near the bottom it
says "top
- term top"

You could also try executing "term" and seeing if that works.

'term top' works. Thank you.

'top' should be an alias for 'term top'

Could you try 'help' and scroll to the bottom of the output. There should be a
list
of aliases there, and the list should include

top - term top

Could you let us know if the list of aliases appears, and if the top entry is
there?
 Thanks in advance.

Yes, top - term top is in the List.

But the true story is: if start it with Alt+F2 (and there's no other hotwire
running), 'top' doesn't work properly. (But vim is OK). I use xfce 4.4.2.

The attachment screenshot is taken when normal running. I start hotwire from
xterm
this time.
