Configure nano as default editor for Git #3

Research how to configure a default editor for your local instance of Git and set it up on your own machines to use nano (which you may have to install if it isn't already present). Emma, since you're comfortable with Atom already, you could configure that as your default Git editor instead of nano, if you'd prefer. See:

Any progress on this, @EmmaSchwarz ? I saw that Nano was @blueciren 's default, so she may be able to help you set it up.

Or, it's pretty easy to set up Atom (as @djbpitt says) to open any file directly in Atom, or optionally by prepending a (which is what I do).
