Notes on schema validation

At the current stage, data schema validation is not complete.

schemas/cycling.py

• Parameters dynamic assignment:

  • this works and is validated: technique.parameters['time'].value = 10.0
  • this does not work: technique.parameters['time'] = 10.0 - because time becomes of type float and not CyclingParameter[NonNegativeFloat].

• required parameters

  • [ ] need to implement a validator to check that parameters with required = True are set

• limit current/voltage

  • [ ] a maximum of 3 out of 4 of these parameters can be set
  • [ ] limit current min/max: can be of type float (an absolute value in A? mA?) or str (e.g. "C/10", "2C", "D/10", "2D"). This is not yet validated.
