We can measure the learning gains of Quill (how much faster they learn vs. a control) and then multiply this by usage to show how much we are accelerating learning. It becomes valuable once we can benchmark against others.

Efficacy Study How do you know it’s working? Efficacy study - How we measure impact. Student learns 5 concepts. For our students who have spent an hour, learned a dozen concepts. The underlying idea: a student is exposed to one there vs. their activity. Does the student retain that info later on? Let’s narrow in on this one concept to dive into it. Dozen concepts over the course of an hour List of concepts we cover - This shows what they are learning. All of the concepts and the standards, as a chart, with the success of each concept. Sample of a student using Quill. Let’s draw a picture: student x learned concepts a, b, and, c. Pre test and post test shows gains. This is the final system we will used, based on the Duolingo formula. Can we fudge it now
