100 day project #34

In my branding class, we had this 100-day project where each day we had to do one thing and repeat it every day for 100 days. The idea was that if you do anything for 100 days you'll get pretty good at it. Be it drawing, photography, etc. One thing that surprised many people was how viral the projects became.

  1. What is Branding? Each day a student would ask industry leaders what their definition of branding was. The result was there were 100 unique definitions of branding, and in turn when you googled "branding" our master's program became the top google search. Also, as the project started to gain momentum the people being interviewed started getting higher in profile, and then they would share the project with their followers, and the project really snowballed. http://branding.sva.edu/what-is-branding
  2. 100 Degrees of Brazil. This student was from Brazil and each day she would ask industry experts what they thought their impression about a brand called Brazil was. Each interview was written in English and Portuguese. Similar things happened with this project where it kept getting shared. https://100degreesofbrazil.wordpress.com/
  3. Brandopedia. Branding and marketing are industries riddled with jargon. It was this one student's missions to define each word and illustrate the concept in the simplest way possible. http://brandopedia.tumblr.com/

Idea A What if we did something similar to 1 and 2 where we interview thought leaders in the education space what they thought education, grammar, writing, or education technology means to them. This could be a page in the community page. And would make for great content to share on social media.

Idea B What if we did something similar to 3 where we define and illustrate terms in EdTech, writing, or grammar.

For each person posting we should include:

Where to push this content:

And when we post the content each day we will link to their social media handles.

We'll want to find a good tool(s) that can schedule and automatically post these posts.
