I would rephrase the description so that the Diagnostic is used at the beginning of the year (for student placement and to drive personalized instruction), Benchmarks/Formative Assessments (instead of Resources) are used throughout the year (to gauge progress, identify gaps) and Summative Assessments (instead of Benchmarks) are used at the end of the year to gauge growth. Thoughts on that phrasing?
