getCharacter returns a value when getKind returns a value #79

A Key with Key.Kind of Key.Kind.ArrowDown returns 'd' when getCharacter is 
called.

It would be nice if getKind and getCharacter were mutually exclusive (ie one 
returns null when the other has a value).

Fixed on default branch. I don't want to change it on 2.1.x as people may have 
code depending on this.
