Demul sound skipping

What steps will reproduce the problem?

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
the sound skips continuously, tried on several games. sound is juddery instead 
of smooth. 

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
0.58, 0.581. 0.582

Please provide any additional information below.

the sound was fine when I first started using demul but then started having 
problems after a few days. I have not changed any settings to do with sound.

I deleted scache and its resolved it now
