Attempting to boot games only takes me to CD player. Distorted audio on inital DC boot screen.

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.  Running any game.  

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Expected output is working game with clear audio, but only CD player is seen.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
demul v0.5.8.2 on Windows 8.1 64 bit

Please provide any additional information below.

Games attempted: Maken X, Sword of the Berserk: Gut's Rage, Blue Stinger.  Only 
.gdi version of Maken X booted (audio still distorted) while .cdi version did 
not.

PC specs:
Intel Core i5-4200U 1.60 GHz with Turbo Boost Technology up to 2.60 GHz
4GB RAM
Intel HD Graphics 4400 

These games work perfectly on nullDC, so my computer is powerful enough to 
handle DC emulation.

no you don't, you can't play demul on this, it's low end ULV. a sound will be 
"distorted", because of slowdowns.

to run gdi games, you must setup region properly, or set it to autodetect
cdi games aren't supported anymore

Thank you for the explanation.  I will stick with nullDC since the requirements 
are lower and it still plays perfectly.
