Omikron The Nomad Soul - Drops to DC Dashboard on Boot

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Add any image of The Nomad Soul to the drive
2. The game will not be recognised by the emulator at all.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

The game should boot to the "Licensed by Sega" screen, but on 3 different dumps 
of the GD-ROM, the emulator just doesn't recognise it at all.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

Demul 0.5.8.2 Oct 23 2013. Windows 8.1 64-bit, 16gb RAM, Geforce GTX 560 Ti 2gb.

Please provide any additional information below.

Demul acts like there is no disc in the drive at all.

Seems to only be the USA version that's affected. PAL version boots without 
issue.

check region settings. set it to auto region to play any GD-ROMs with no need 
to change it.
