Allow the "Menu" key to be mapped to any button #120

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Before we updated to the GUI version, when setting your buttons you could set
the menu key to whatever button you wanted. On some 3rd party controllers and
adapters the Z button is on the face of the controller, so it can be beneficial
to set the Z button as one of the 6 Genesis face buttons. In the GUI version
the Z key is always set to the menu, and if you try to set it as an input
button, it will just skip your key choice.

I have modified the source code so that the R button is set to the menu button
(which works best for my particular set up), but I suggest bringing the ability
to set the Menu key to whatever you'd like, for those people who can't change
the source.

What version of the emulator are you using (official, SVN revision,...)?
Latest SVN (r504)

Even better, make it a button combination to call up the menu, like L R Start
or L R Z. That way the people who use a Genesis to Wii adapter (like you
advertise on the Project Home page) can access the menu without needing to plug
in a GC Controller.

I don't want to make combination call, it's not practical to use, I want access
to main menu to be fast and not complicate (L+R+START, really ???)

Sorry, I won't change the way it is, if the controller you are using does not
have enough buttons for genesis emulation + menu key, there is nothing I can do
anyway and I feel that Z button is the best option so far, considering that 99%
of user have a normal game cube controller.

That's fine eke, luckily it's not that hard to modify in the source for those
of us who are so inclined.

However, Tantric uses a button combination to enter the menu on all his
emulators and it seems quite well liked. At the very least it seems like having
it be customizable would be the best option. Is there a reason why you think it
should be set in stone? It used to be moddable.

Because it complicates things to me and because it's fine for me and most other
users ;)

Btw, the reason I don't like buttons combination is that there are some games
out there that actually use that kind of combinations (for example, to activate
a special cheat code or to trigegr a special move in a fighting game, etc).

Using an unmapped controller button seemed more logical to me.
