an option to change the default snaps location #131

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.Have a SD card inserted into the wii
2.Load the genplusgx boot.dol from the USB drive.... Load the roms from the
root of the usb-device and the NEW version 1.4 will force the creation of a
folder into the SD Card (that's the problem - the snaps folder should be at the
usb-device)
3.So you can't have the snaps at the usb device!
Into the previous version i can see all the covers with the refered structure
of paths...

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I expected to see the covers like the previous version could. @eke-eke - Can
you put an option for us to specify the directory where we put the snaps?
Including the option for those that have both SD and USB but just want to use
the usb?

What version of the emulator are you using (official, SVN revision,...)?
The new version reproduces this problem.

Please provide any additional information below (Video settings, Console
region,...)

It's explained in the user manual. If a SD card is detected, it will be used as
default device, this is the way libfat works.

May I ask: what is wrong about having your snaps on SD when you have a SD
inserted ?
I don't really see the point of having an option to change the location.

btw, the previous official version did not have snap or "covers" and the
previous betas with the new GUI all worked the same so I don't know what you
are talking about.

Won't change anything as this is already fine imo and flooding the emulator
with too much unneeded options is a bad idea:

- if you have a SD inserted, snaps will be saved on and restored from SD
- otherwise, USB will be used

If you accidentally used USB once without SD or SD was used once but now you
don't use it anymore, just merge or copy the snaps folder to the proper
location, i don't see a real problem here unless you are constantly changing
your device configuration, which makes no sense either.
