Savestate feature broken when TMSS is enabled. #183

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Load any game.
2. Make a savestate at any point.
3. Load the savestate.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
The game freezes with the music still playing.

What version of the emulator are you using (official, SVN revision,...)?
v1.6.0

Please provide any additional information below (Video settings, Console
region,...)
I've tested this with a variety of games including Sonic 1, Ristar and Monster
World IV so I know it doesn't just occur in one particular game.

Savestates are working fine for me, I don't know what you are doing wrong.

Please give more details such as device type you are using to store savesates
(SD, USB), if you did change some emulator options between saving and loading
the game state, if you verified that the state file (.gp0, .gp1, etc) was
correctly written on your device (check the date or for more precautions,
delete any existing file then try again).

Please note that savestate from older versions (such as 1.4.0, 1.4.1) are not
compatible with 1.6.0. I only try to keep compatibility with the last former
evrsion (in that cae 1.5.0).

Okay, after looking further into why savestates are broken for me it turns out
that the problem happens if I have the TMSS turned on. If I have it turned off,
then savestates work fine.
