Lunar 2 crash #346

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Walking through the black door on the "Destiny" ship heading down to another
level. (B2)
2. Nothing else so far that I have noticed.
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
------It is expected to enter the final basement level of the ship, with grated
floors (leading to a small cut scene; Lucia in a jail cell). Instead, the
screen goes black, and nothing loads.

What version of the emulator are you using (official, SVN revision,...)?
-----Official. Downloaded via the homebrew browser.

Please provide any additional information below (Emulator settings, Console
setting,...)
-----Honestly I haven't changed any settings from default. All latest updated
versions of homebrew, browser, and genplus.

I cannot reproduce it on the last version (1.7.4), did not test on previous
versions and don't know what version Homebrew Browser is currently on, I'd
suggest downloading the version directly from here and install it on your SD
Card.

It could also be a faulty .iso or .bin that you are using, try to get a proper
CD image of the game.

Here are screenshots past that spot showing the lower floor and the start of
the cutscene, made with 1.7.4 using your internal save (not savestate)

Thank you for trying. Homebrew browser is updated to its latest version as of
two days ago, so I will try finding another .iso file.

What matters is not the version of Homebrew Browser but the version of Genesis
Plus GX you got from Homebrew Browser.

You can check the version of the emulator in the Exit window.

Just tested with previous version (1.7.3) and it passed that spot fine as well
so you are probably using a corrupted .iso

Still, better update to newest version (1.7.4) if not already done.
