Would like to see NTFS support ala Mplayer CE

Dont count on it, mate. I have issues using existing USBs with MPlayer CE due
to
their new NTFS support, and while it may be a good idea I suspect Eke-Eke would
not
want such issues to plague his wonderful work so far.

when a stable and bugfree libntfs port will be available, this could be
considered.

For the moment being, use SD cards or USB sticks formatted to FAT, really, I
can't
care less if this is more practical for you to store your 200GB ROM
"collection" on
the same drive...

ADD LIBNTFS (can be found on wiibrew/development tools)

Still the old unstable ported library, too much downsides for very few
advantages, I think emulators on Wii do not need NTFS support, imo it's just
waste of time & memory usage (i.e your Wii is not designed to replace your PC
and never will)

As far as i know the library has been stable for some time now.. Hence its
usage in several other homebrew apps. Never had any kind of issues using ntfs
homebrew since day 1! Big advantage for example : no need for my pc to be
online for the smb share :)

Still not interested in adding features like this, the more library you use the
less memory you have for more important things. This is supposed to be an
emulator after all, not the ultimate file browser with support for every
existing file format. Also, i've been told that ntfs writing support was not
really stable, which might not be important for media player or other homebrew
that only read files, but is more problematic with emulators that regularely
write sram & savestates to the disk.

ask dimok321@hotmail.de for a stable version.

No thanks. When i say i'm not interested, it means I won't be adding
uninteresting features like that one. FAT32 support is already working
perfectly, there is no advantage in using NTFS on wii (beside making a few
users happy because it's "easier" for them ;-) )
