Enhancement: Joystick Deadzone #254

The real Nintendo 64 controllers had a joystick deadzone of about 20% I 
believe. This was created because of the awkward joystick design and how 
little movement it actually had. This means that around 20% of the 
joystick's 360 movement would be inactive, thus allowing for more precision 
with the tiny movements the stick initially had. I found this especially 
useful on games that required a certain level of accuracy, mainly FPS games 
like Goldeneye 007 and Perfect Dark. Ultimately though, all of the N64 
games had the deadzone of the joystick in mind when they were created so 
having the ability to adjust this setting would vastly improve upon the 
gameplay for all of the games. 

That said, I would like to see an enhancement for making adjustments to the 
joystick deadzone on the multiple controllers input methods for the Wii. 
The modern controllers for the Wii like the, Remote, Nunchuck and the 
Classic Controller all have a much broader range for the joystick which 
makes playing N64 titles feel awkward in my opinion. I believe that adding 
something like this to the emulator would make it both play and feel more 
like the original hardware and would make the emulator even better than it 
already is. Keep it stuck at 20% by default and/or provide the options to 
adjust how much or how little deadzone you want the controller to have. 
Either way, I think it will really help make the emulator and the new 
hardware to feel and act more like the original.

I hope you consider my idea, thanks for creating such a vastly improving 
N64 emulator :-)

I forgot to mention it before but this would also greatly help with the 
Gamecube port 
as well. The Gamecube controller has joysticks that are very similar to the 
Wii's and 
they all have much better range than the N64 controllers did.

Although adding this to the Gamecube port/controllers I figured was implied, I 
still 
will post this in the hopes of seeing the functionality provided for these as 
well, 
if it gets added in of course. Thanks again :-)
