I would like to suggest an option to keep screensaver/screen timeout/sleep mode
from coming on like Zsnesw, Epsxe, Mame, etc.

This should happen by default acutally

Maybe he has a really low setting like 1 minute, that may be triggered when
watching a cutscene.

no actually, he has "on resume show logon screen" enabled which overrides the
method that nulldc uses (which is correct and intentional behavior)

yes, that is what i have on. i shall post what i had said in the duplicate
topic:

I have a 64-bit windows 7 machine and the option of the welcome screen after
screensaver is enabled (which causes a bug in windows if it is set up like this
depending on a specific coding used). I've just tested it and only the screen
timeout does not come on. I put my screensaver to 1 minute to test and it still
comes on. I was thinking that it could be coded to where none of the power
options activate like on the VLC Player, Zsnes, Mame, or even like a youtube
video, etc. if it is not to much to ask. I am using NULLDC Optimized r139.
thank you for your time.

To avoid the screensaver and keep you "active" just add a null mouse_event that
triggers twice a minute or so.
