EMulator lags beyond playability

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.turn on HBC
2.Start PSX Emultator
3.Choose game

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I expect to be able to play playstation games using this at atleast a
decently similar quality to the PS1. Instead, any iso(or image, Or Bin) i
load does in fact load, but is laggy beyond anything possible. The FPS are
unreasonably slow and the sounds comes out in chunk like 8 bit NES

What version of the product are you using?

Please provide any additional information below.
I may just be fooling myself and assuming this is supposed to run
differently, what Im seeing may be the intended output of this emulator....

It depends on the game. Some run quite well, but others will have a noticable
slowdown. For exaample, Final Fantasy tactics would likely run flawlessly, but a
graphics-intensive game like FF9 might run slower if it runs at all.

Playabbility depends on the game as well. 75% isn't bad for rpgs, but its 
horrendous
for fighters.
