Loading Snapshot Saves and Auto Save files #131

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.Open any game that has a save file and load either Auto save or a manual
save.
2.
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
The file loads where I last left off but there's no sound, game play or
anything, it's just a picture. Then sometimes when you move to another game
all the sound is completely gone but the roms start up fine.

Does this issue occur on VBA-M r781
(http://vba-m.ngemu.com/vbam/vbacompiles/msvc2008/VisualBoyAdvance781.7z)?
If so, please report the issue to the VBA-M forum.

What version are you using? On GameCube or Wii?
Wii

Are you using the official build (from the downloads page or auto-update)?
Yes, I'm using up to date everything, emulators, games all.

Please provide any additional information below.
Dunno if its anything that matters but I used the bannerbomb on my wii with
is version 4.0U Everything else works perfectly fine, SNES Genesis and the
NES emu's. Just the VBA goes retarded with the save files a lot of the
time. I've tried 2 SD cards, I mainly use a Sandisk SD for the wii but I
tried a Kodak SD and my USB Sandisk, all 1 Gig and over in size and I've
tried on 2 different wii's as I have 2 of them. If someone needs a file or
something just lemme know and I'll post up my Dragonball-Advanced
Adventures saves.

I found that with Dragonball Advanced Adventure if you hit select to view your
inventory while you're playing on a level in story mode, you can save it and it
won't
corrupt the save file making it frozen picture. No other way around DBZ Legacy
Of
Goku yet, DBZ Legacy of Goku 2 works fine though.

Same as Issue 75

Basically after loading the corrupt snapshot you made your regular save data
becomes
corrupt as well.
