Transfers unconfirmed #112

Transfers are still unconfirmed. I've send first transfer from navpay wallet to another navpay wallet more then 10h ago. I've also tried sending small amount (1Nav) from other navpay wallets. I know that issue should be fixed for core version, but navpay still doesn't show anything. Something more than 22Nav were sent to NTesAM6gvge1VejMHZJxjjjbeCazHb21RD address. There isn't any hash generated. Example: https://chainz.cryptoid.info/nav/tx.dws?eb1c65ced246d18fbca9642f137acadc2375b3cf6a39b9f9fab1d53fa43946fd

Elegantt data. What's this?

fongreecss commented 6 years ago

I've noticed also that the whole funds of wallet are send in transaction. One to desired destination address and another to newly generated navpay address (that should be yours). For example. https://chainz.cryptoid.info/nav/tx.dws?ce9dd7d007c958d5aee4b4b4e1d1e75ef888c82123708ee549f750d097ae2962.htm

So if my previous transactions sent the whole address funds to blockchain and that was unconfirmed you've "lost" the whole address funds. That way I've ended up with significant loss. I hope that you can fix that.

We had some blockchain processing issues yesterday where some of these unconfirmed transactions are stuck in peoples wallets. If the transaction is not showing on the block explorer then the funds are not lost, they will be recoverable as long as you have the recovery phrase.

Can you try to recover your wallet to a new device to see if the funds appear? If you're using the wallet on android, try your recovery phrase in the desktop or web wallet for example.

If it doesn't work, please be as detailed as possible about the issue:

What device are you using it on? What operating system? What version of operating system? Provide steps to reproduce the issue. Provide screenshots.

Of course, don't disclose any private information like your recovery phrase in your report or your screenshots.

All these things help us to identify and resolve the issue as quickly as possible.

In response to your second question, this is simply the way cryptocurrencies create transactions. It doesn't always spend your whole balance, but it finds a transaction or multiple transactions to spend when creating a transaction and then provides change back to you. You can think of it very easily referencing physical money.

If you go to a store to buy some food and it costs $15.50, you open your wallet and you have a single $20 in there. You give it to the clerk and they give you $4.50 change.

Same thing happens with crypto. You wanted to spend 10 NAV, your wallet had 1 transaction for 57.5736229 NAV in it. So when you create the transaction, you use the 57.5 NAV as an input to the transaction and the 10 NAV go where you want them to and the 47.5 NAV come back to you as change.

My funds/coins have transfered without any problem and I can still access this wallet.

Then I've created new wallet (android navpay), that I've used for gifting my family. I've send 55navcoins to this address (some of them private because I've tested private sending) https://chainz.cryptoid.info/nav/address.dws?NZM3DV5aqopzchaPjKhwkHE4L45pAEVc6c.htm

Note that I can not retrieve Other wallet anymore. I know the passphrase, but I get this errors: 1) if I am trying from my desktop app (Linux Mint 18.1 Serena - 64bit) 505navpay :

2.) If I try from my mobile (Motorola moto g2 - android 6.0) then I also get this message "wallet not registered at the wallet service." or "502 error". I know that I am using legit passphrase, and I've also sent and received funds to that wallet without any problem.

I've also tried to recreate that wallet from "create personal wallet" using advanced options. I've entered passphrase and it shows following message: "COPAYER_REGISTERED: Copayer ID already registered on server"

There is also a wallet that I've created for my mum and dad. This wallet showed unconfirmed transactions before, but now I can not see those transactions (along with lost funds) anywhere left. Transactions and funds have just vanished from my personal navpay wallet (desktop). I can not see transactions on my fathers phone and my desktop wallet anymore (but I could see them before, but no tx or hash has been created).

UPDATE: These are addresses (public) that i can see that were generated: NTesAM6gvge1VejMHZJxjjjbeCazHb21RD NMgbmsdFrUL2n8boGnfbCwD3TZUGZkhW1N NLM2cRaYUVWDv9tGFsrHJTu5oLM5Naf8q9 NTiUCQXztgtkFvE525xo1o27AeANjCUVmH NehEx2zTjq1RGhYg95ewjH1T2cqLRDC5MH

UPDATE: There is one transaction that I've tried to sent from my fathers wallet to bittrex account (1Nav) and is still visible on my bittrex account. But as you can see, transaction doesn't exist anymore Address: NZaCqzT5FP5okg3XptdKMj7ZkWcPvufyoa TxId: a865ac74447ec6bcdb32d19f0e3914c87905db79c5bc3fde89dbe8f0ae139334
