Would be handy to have a site map page for a sanity check of hierarchy. It's already available in that one page I made via a WP plug-in I installed but I don't know how accurate it is with our static site setup. Still seems handy either way.

This would be to a web page, not an actual XML site map.

Ok, I'm still basically going off the Google Doc I shared (and have continued to update) and trying to make it correspond to the Menu (for the top nav), though I know that doesn't have to reflect the full underlying site map. Not sure what needs doing with or how to get to that one page you mention, but let me know.

It's set to private so you can log in to see it, or we can just turn it to Public and see how it looks. I'll set it to a different url though, sans "temp".

Sorry if this causes any find/replace problems but if I haven't said it already the new site structure should probably be in place as much as possible before we go all-in with changing the old links. It's not going to wreck anything if it's not, but should help avoid having to find/replace links a second time.

I'm sure whatever approach we do in whatever order we decide will still end up with some stragglers from the old structure, but seems best to get the actual pages in place first.

Also if it helps you to organize which old language and project pages you have already migrated to the custom post type, feel free to use some of the other built in WordPress status options like Pending Review or Draft or something. The only flag I am using is private versus public so go nuts on your own means of keeping track.

Optional but just a thought!

this has been done for awhile, albeit with absolute links pointing to the content site, but it's good enough for an outline. closing...
