OK I just uploaded 2.5.1 to the Android market with some fixes. It might take
a couple of hours before it appears on your phone but when it does can you try
it and report back?

Looks like another user has an issue with the speakers dialog as well not
working since the 2.5.0 release.
"I prefer winamp but this remote works so well with iTunes and allows me to
control which speakers it goes to so well that I use iTunes over WA. One issue
with new layout I have had is the speakers select window is not letting me
change or manage speakers. It closes to an "OK" window. Will add 5th star if
this is fixed as it the main reason for my use of this remote."

I'm "the" user :-) . I will wait for the update and see if that fixes the issue.

Just got the update... unfortunately the speaker issue remains. Please let me
know what if there is anything further I can test.

I updated, but the menu issue remains unchanged. I will continue to test and
report any changes.

Success! After updating, I force closed the app and cleared the app data. In
iTunes preferences, chose option to forget all remotes. Re-paired tunesremote+
with iTunes library, and issues were fixed. Menu functionality was fine, and
speaker select dialog worked properly. Thank you!

Can't say I've had the same success. I tried the same steps as listed above
but speakers menu issue still persists for me on both nexus galaxy and zoom.

It seems I was premature in my declaration of success. After leaving the wifi
network (without disabling wifi), and returning, the remote again displayed the
same problems. Clearing data, force stopping, and re-pairing again solved the
issue.
I hope this information helps narrow down the trouble.

The speaker issue definitely sounds like a problem that needs to be addressed
with a code fix which we will track with Issue #101 created by geocas1.
As for the other issues with the weird menu's displaying and not displaying I
will have to think about that one some more and what could possibly be causing
it.

I've made some observations, hopefully someone can start to see a pattern
emerging:
1. When I initially start up the tunesremote+ app, it reconnects to the last
known library. At this point, the menu will appear if the menu button is the
FIRST button pressed (no play/pause commands or anything else). The menu is
unresponsive, but it appears. Subsequent pushes of menu button will result in
the small menu showing at the bottom (as descibed earlier). All on-screen
buttons still function properly.
2. When I exit the app using the home button, the app does not disconnect from
the library. Thus, the first button press will result in the same error of the
menu not showing up. (Stay connected in background is not selected).
3. When I exit the app using the back button, the app disconnects from the
library. Upon re-launching the app, the error may or may not occur.
4. Very rarely, the menu will show with the first button press, but it will be
EMPTY (see attached image).
5. If the menu pops up and does not show the speaker select option, I know that
it will become unresponsive.
6. Once in a while, the menu shows up, the speaker select option appears, and
the menu buttons are functional. Then I have to do my best to remember to use
the Home button to use other apps on my phone, so that tunesremote+ does not
disconnect. If I disconnect, it's a gamble whether the app will work properly
or not.
7. These observations are the same whether connected to iTunes on OSX or
Windows 7.
Hope that helps! I've attached some screen shots to illustrate. Thanks again
for the work, the support, and the FREE and ad free app!

LOL ok my girlfriend just laughed at me for laughing out loud about "something
beta 2 and beta 1".
Ill test Beta 2 after I get a bite to eat and will see if that fixed the issue
in Beta 1.
Oh geek humor. :)

I appreciate the testing. I don't have a real ICS device to test on so the
emulator can never be fully trusted. :)
