Please source code? Make NoEscape Open source please! #145

Closed RonCohen109 closed 2 years ago

RonCohen109 commented 3 years ago

Can I get the source code for NoEscape.exe? I need that for developing a good virus. Thank you.

BeChris100 commented 3 years ago

Yes please, I just hit "search" for it and just came up in here

LumitoLuma commented 3 years ago

Yes. It would be great!

fel1x0u commented 3 years ago

Yeah, I agree.

jessiejs commented 3 years ago

This has been asked several times, the answer has always been no. :/

USMP-lancer commented 3 years ago

there is no reason one would need the source for any of these

fel1x0u commented 3 years ago

That?s true.

BeChris100 commented 3 years ago

It would be still possible to get the source code, but I don't fully know the way that I knew with "Visual Studio" or other tools... idk...

fel1x0u commented 3 years ago

Mhm. All you would need to do is decompile the EXE.

InsertX2k commented 3 years ago

We all want Enderman (@Endermanch) to make the source code of his virus (I mean NoEscape) available to download, but unfortunately almost all replies were no. The best way to obtain the source code is by disassembling the EXE or decompiling it, or using some reverse engineering software (I don't know anything about that, as I haven't ever tried to do that even once in my life).

fel1x0u commented 3 years ago

Yeah.

USMP-lancer commented 3 years ago

i think the main reason he isnt giving source code might be for legal reasons

fel1x0u commented 3 years ago

Mmmmm, that's one of the possible reasons

sphyro-svg commented 3 years ago

im trying to find the source code but then again why do u need/want it

BeChris100 commented 3 years ago

So, my guess would be this: Enderman won't give us the source code to his virus "No Escape", so the other way to get the source code is by decompiling / disassemble the EXE file itself. I would recommend doing it on Ubuntu since you can't really run EXE files on Linux Machines (unless you run it with "wine" or other tools) and you won't get any damage with the registry itself and stuff on Ubuntu. Download can be still done with Windows 10.

sphyro-svg commented 3 years ago

im trying to decompile the exe on linux

TRSC25 commented 3 years ago

Try with Jetbrains' DotPeek Software

BeChris100 commented 3 years ago

i think the main reason he isnt giving source code might be for legal reasons

Security Reasons

Yeah, that is actually true. I mean, if the malware "NoEscape.exe" would be open-source, then anyone could edit the source code and send it to someone else just to infect that machine or just for fun. That would be the main reason.

Hate Speech

Another reason could be that he (Enderman) doesn't want to share the source code since he probably doesn't want any comments or messages that some code is hidden and never showed up (could be, not believing it).

Maintaining the source code / creating your own version

So yeah, if you really want to have the source code of the NoEscape.exe so badly, then decompile it on Linux Machine. It won't take any damage to the machine because you won't execute that file (unless you use wine). You can even try to create your own version of NoEscape if you want to. He said in his NoEscape.exe removal video that he created it with C (and probably C++ too) to finish this malware.

yurryly commented 2 years ago

Decompilation failed with most software Please tell me what you can use

BeChris100 commented 2 years ago

I tried to maintain the source code with the Ubuntu Machine several times, but still won't work (I am probably a noob). Right now what I am trying to do is to make one with C and C++ on Ubuntu (because yes, I use this OS to create apps and games). If I fail, then I switch to Java.

You can always stop trying

lmao

yurryly commented 2 years ago

I'm not a malware collector Source code collector I also like to modify the source so that it can never be removed. I have also modified Mrs Major and 000 so far. In such a situation, I can see No Escape and make more powerful and amazing malware. I thought, but the code is not open source and I'm disappointed because I can't even decompile

USMP-lancer commented 2 years ago

virtual machines are pretty cool ngl

yurryly commented 2 years ago

Even if it is limited someday Keep believing that you are distributing

USMP-lancer commented 2 years ago

you want to decompile, virtual machines could help you know

jsinc-sebastian commented 2 years ago

Still its maked with ### C## (CSharp)

Yeah, I agree.

Im too Agree

Hello bro im not asking about source code but what application you use to protect your EXE file from being decompiled ? Thanks in advance !

GleamingSky61 commented 1 year ago

Maybe we decompile with wsl2 or wslg? also If someone pays a professional coder from fiver he will make his own version

BeChris100 commented 1 year ago

It would be crazy if he actually did it on April 1st, if you get the joke.

DevelopmentPenguin commented 1 year ago

you guys can use a software called dnSpy decompiles EXEs

DevelopmentPenguin commented 1 year ago

but isnt noescape written in c#

fel1x0u commented 1 year ago

no it’s written in cpp (or C i don’t remember, but still not cs) didn’t you see the removal video by enderman

Thanks, Stephen

Let me reinstate, why he will not give out / release the Source Code.

Security Reasons

Yeah, that is actually true. I mean, if the malware "NoEscape.exe" would be open-source, then anyone could edit the source code and send it to someone else just to infect that machine or just for fun. That would be the main reason.

Spread / Dangers of Malware

This was not stated before, but if anyone has the access to the Source Code, then the project can be modified to any potential, which can make either NoEscape.exe be more destructive, or to some point, where Recovery might no longer be an option, even with a LiveBoot USB Pen Drive. Mainly, those USB Live Boots are designed to recover any system, but sometimes, any type of Malware can go beyond of Recovery, where the entire Drive needs to be swapped, or that it even destroyed your data. Nobody wants that.

I am not a Cyber-Security nor a Malware/Software Development expert, but even writing your own Malware can cost you jail time, where law enforcement might find out about your doings.
