Doesn't Work On 32bit Versions #29

Open 44cK3r opened 10 months ago

I keep getting an error saying that it's not a valid 32bit application and I need to activate my laptop permanently without getting a virus or doing an annoying process every few months to keep it activated

Just in case someone asks I'm using Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005

What installation media did you use initially?

I was surprised, but is this KeygenXP compatible with XP x86? I am on Windows XP SP3 original VL and also on XP SP3 original Retail. When trying to run the v2.7 release I receive the message "this is not a valid win32 application".

I get the exact same error

I have had the same Windows error response as the previous two contributors. I installed an original Windows XP 32-bit version Service Pack 2 DVD now upgraded to Service Pack 3.

There is a tool out there that will do the job right and permanently activate it but it's not open source at least I don't think it is and I got it somewhere on Reddit that's how I got mine activated

Thanks to 44cK3r I rummaged in Reddit and got onto xp_activate32.exe downloadable as a .zip file. Extracted and ran it apparently successfully. Should point out I'm a Linux user and used a non-Google browser to find the file, needed for a second "old stuff" computer. But you can have XP and Linux on the same computer with a choice of systems when booting.
