Unable to mount remote drive root #103

Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 9 years ago

What steps will reproduce the problem?

Specify a remote directory to be mounted

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

The remote directory that is mounted is always the home directory of the user.
I was not able to mount the drive root (I tried /, ../, ./../, ~/../)

What version of the product are you using?

win-sshfs: 0.0.1.5
Client OS: Windows 8.1
Server OS: Ubuntu (unknown version, probably 12 or 13)
Ssh server: ?

check the ssh config on the server ("Match Group sftpgroup" and
"ChrootDirectory /path/shared")

I figured out what the problem was. One needs to click the Save button
before any changes to the settings take effect. I kept changing the default
directory and clicking Unmount/Mount and it actually didn't have any effect.

Suggestions:

   - automatically save settings after the Mount button was clicked and
   before connecting
   - provide some kind of connection log for troubleshooting

Works as expected except for the confusing settings issue.

Thanks!
