We should update the input border to be slightly thicker when it's focused.

Based on discussion on 17/07/24 we decided not to adjust border thickness for changing states as that can cause other issues in the code.

Instead we are going to default to the black/white outline around components when they are focused on.

Decision: Change the input to black/white border matching other components and remove the gray shadow/outline.
