The postcode finder issue and design specifications have been added to this ticket: https://github.com/Energy-Saving-Trust/Design-System/issues/94.
I'm checking it as done here since it has been moved.
Moved this issue to Clickup, closing it here.
[ ] Date picker: Users would prefer to be able to click the year and change it directly versus needing to scroll through via the arrows. This requires further design specification from EST, however I think our approach could be making the 'Month' and 'Year' clickable, which would switch the view to something like this.
[x] Postcode finder: The house name field confused some participants, they thought they were entering their address not looking it up. Users also would expect that if it was a postcode finder, as they typed a dropdown selector list of addresses would pop-up to choose from. Need further design specification. However I would imagine we would rather solve this by having a two-step process. 1. they enter their postcode, 2. they are brought to a second screen that shows a list of addresses to choose from. (Refer to: https://find-energy-certificate.service.gov.uk/find-a-certificate/search-by-postcode and https://app.snugg.com/onboarding/find-property?postcode).
Test page: Filters
[ ] Users found it confusing how to activate filters. They often missed the 'filter' button. We discussed several potential solutions during the last call on Wednesday with CHD. One option for Desktop would be to have the 'Filter' button float and follow the user as they scroll through the list of categories and tags, so it's always visible. Further design specification needed here.
Test page: Log in / Create account
[ ] Password: Users expressed that they would like to see which requirements they have met while typing their password. For example: if the password must be 10 characters and contain and exclamation mark, we have a checklist that ticks off the items and turns greens once they've typed 10 characters etc. This requires further specifications into exactly how we would want to implement this or specify instructions for implementing this in the Design System.
