[ ] Decide which columns need to be indexed
[ ] Find the SQL to make that happen

We have discussed that the "Dataset" column may be a good candidate for indexing. It will let us separate the datasets so that accessing individual datasets is almost as fast as them being separate tables.

Given this is an old issue and hasn't caused grief so much, I'm going forward on closing it. When this discussion resurfaces, we can make a new issue.
