I ran this simulator in Parallels Windows 11 of Macbook Pro M1 Pro 2021. When I'm in 10x slow mode, it performs over 150+ fps. but in the real-time version, the fps is always around 5-20

Is this due to the translation layer of Windows and Mac, or can some performance improvements be made?

one way to compensate speed for audio quality is holding N and scrolling up and down.

I used wineskin: https://github.com/Engine-Simulator/engine-sim-community-edition/issues/28#issuecomment-1608977032

I'm not using Crossover though. I use Parallels. The RAM was 10GB for the virtual machine and used 6 Cores of CPU. But it still lags so much

Maybe it isnt using all of the cores you made the VM use.

Edit: You don't need 10 GB's of RAM, you can get away with 4GB.
