Bug Description

In Minecraft 1.20.6, When typing “//sel” into the chat, a “connection lost” page appears. I am playing in single player but not multiplayer

Expected Behavior

Clear the selection

Reproduction Steps

Log in a single player world
Type “//sel” in chat
The “Connection lost” page appears

in general though this is not an issue i can reproduce. if you can provide any extra information to help reproduce it that'd be appreciated, as i can't identify the issue if i can't trigger it myself
