Questbook crashes game when playing on dedicated server #191

Modpack Version: 1.17

Describe the bug Client can not find quests when playing on dedicated server, crashing the game. Server does not crash and does not show any messages except player disconnect.

To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Launch dedicated server
  2. Connect to server
  3. Try to open quests
  4. See error

Expected behavior The quests

Extra Updating FTB Quests prevents crash but still does not allow to open questbook, showing error message.

go into a singleplayer world open the questbook and then go into the server. worked for me

So, we're over a year in and this issue still persists. Cannot explain what a major pain it is to have to constantly help people fix this. I see RAD:2 has been released so clearly there's work going on with Packs.

Any chance Dreams or someone else can look into EL2 and fix this issue ?

I don't think they are fixing old modpacks when there are newer ones that get played more frequently

If someone knows java they can fork the project and fix it tho or pull request
